The Princeton powerlifting meet was a great and awesome experience for the team. Despite having to wake up early in the morning to get on the road, everyone came in ready to compete and represent Tom Bean well. Going up against big schools. The lifters showed determination, strength, and confidence throughout the entire meet.
The team performed extremely well, with many athletes hitting personal records, which showed how much work had been put in during training.
Ryan DeArmond had an outstanding day, earning 1st place overall, while Rylan Burger also competed strongly and finished in 4th place.
This meet is especially meaningful because it was the first time Tom Bean had a full team competing together, making the success even more exciting and memorable for everyone involved.
In other news, we had another successful powerlifting meet for our Lady Tomcats at S&S! Every lifter walked away with a personal record, showing the hard work and dedication this team brings every time they step on the platform. Dianne Flores made an outstanding 4th place last night. We’re proud of their performance and momentum and are excited to carry it into our next meet in Prosper.
