The Lady Cats wrapped up district play undefeated and as District Champs, and they had a solid 5-1 win over Trenton on Friday.

Addison Porter had a big night in the circle with 15 strikeouts, giving up just one run across seven innings. Offensively, Blake Edwards led the way going 3-for-4, including a home run in the sixth that brought in two runs. Olivia Noga also came through with an RBI single, and Vick added two hits to help keep things going.

We got on the board in the third and then really opened things up in the sixth to secure the win.

Now it’s playoff time. We’ll be taking on Wolfe City at Sherman High School:
Thursday at 6:00, Friday at 5:00, and if needed, Game 3 Friday at 7:00.
