The JH Lady Cats battled Celeste to a 4-4 tie Tuesday in a close, competitive game.
The Lady Cats got on the board first in the opening inning, with Landry Cherry driving in two runs. Celeste answered in the second, but the Lady Cats fought right back to tie the game at 4-4.

Landry led the way in the circle, striking out six batters over two innings. At the plate, Landry and Avery Nelson each drove in a run, while Ainslee Lilibridge and Nelson showed great patience with two walks apiece. As a team, the Lady Cats drew seven walks, giving themselves plenty of opportunities throughout the game.
