The JV baseball season got started yesterday against Leonard, winning one and losing one.

Game 1 (5-6 LOSS):
Tomcat JV baseball lost a close one despite a furious comeback against Leonard, losing 5-6. Grayson Pribble and Brendan Goodman both had a double and an RBI a piece. Carter Mayo, Paxton Parrish, and Ryon Cherry all chipped in with a hit of their own. Curran Apple and Tony Delatorre both had a good showing on the mound for the Tomcats.

Game 2 (4-2 WIN):
The JV Tomcats first win on the season was an exciting one with a walk off triple by Paxton Parrish! Cain Pearson also was a big factor at the plate, getting 2 hits including a double. Carter Mayo and Ashton Peeples also got a hit in the game. The Tomcats were dominant on the mound. Carter Mayo, Cain Pearson, and Grayson Pribble combined pitched for 5 innings giving up only 3 hits and striking out 9.
