On Tuesday, March 5, the Tomcats fought hard but came up short to the Collinsville Pirates 2-6. Keaton Reed led the Tomcats offensively going 2-4 with a double. Hagen Darney also had a double. Cash Linder and Dyson Farris added hits as well. Cash Linder battled on the mound going 6 and a third innings.

On Friday the Tomcats traveled to Tioga. The Tomcats got their first district win of the young season, beating the Bulldogs 17-5. The bats were hot for the Tomcats as Braylin Barrett led the offense going 4-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI's. Donnie Hooten collected 3 doubles and 3 RBI's. Cash Linder also had 3 hits including a triple and 2 RBI's. Keaton Reed pitched well, going 5 innings and striking out 8. Dyson Farris closed the game with a 3 up 3 down inning.

The Tomcats will face Savoy on Tuesday at 6:30 @ Home.
