Tomcat baseball had a successful Spring Break! Varsity got 2 district wins and the JV got a win as well.

JV vs. Grayson Christian Varsity (10-4 WIN):
The JV Tomcats were on fire at the plate. Carter Mayo had 2 hits including a triple. Curran Apple and Slayton Farris also had 2 hits. Ryon Cherry had a double and Cain Pearson had an inside-the-park homerun! Carter Mayo, Ty Jones, and Ryon Cherry all pitched well on the mound.

Varsity vs. Savoy (20-0 WIN):
The Tomcats got the job done early against Savoy. Hagen Darney, Cash Linder, Keaton Reed, and Collin Cherry all had 2 hits on the day. Donnie Hooten pitched in with a double at the plate. Dyson Farris struck out all 3 batters that he faced.

JV vs. Whitewright (1-14 LOSS):
Cain Pearson and Brayden Yowell led the offense with a double a piece. Slayton Farris and Carter Mayo also had a hit in the game. Brendan Goodman had a good outing on the mound.

JV vs. Trenton (6-9 LOSS):
The offense was hot early, but wasn't enough to beat the Tigers. Carter Mayo had 2 hits at the plate. Slayton Farris also had a hit. On the mound, Curran Apple dominated going 2 innings, not allowing any runs and only 1 hit.

Varsity vs. Trenton (5-0 WIN):
Cash Linder was dominant on the mound, pitching a complete game shutout and only giving up 2 hits. Hagen Darney had a big 2 RBI single. Cash Linder and Keaton Reed also had an RBI hit.

The Tomcats will look to continue their winning streak tomorrow, March 18th, at Honey Grove.
