On Monday, March 10th, the Lady Cats battled hard against Trenton. However, they came up short, falling 6-2 in a competitive matchup. Ryan Jones provided the offensive spark for the Lady Cats, launching a solo home run over the left-field fence in the top of the fourth inning. Jones had a solid day at the plate, collecting two hits and driving in one of Tom Bean's two runs. Oliva Noga also put together a strong performance, tallying two hits to help the Lady Cats. Kailynn Pearson drove in the team’s other run. Cori Peterson and Bailey Daniel led the charge with two walks each. Daniel battled through 7 innings, giving up only 1 walk. The Lady Cats played solid defense as well, turning a key double play to keep the game within reach.
