The Tom Bean Lady Cats secured a 9-5 victory over Ector on Tuesday, with standout performances from several key players.

Alexandra Mauriello set the tone early, doubling in the first inning to drive in the game’s opening run. Mauriello remained a force at the plate all game, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and scoring a run to lead the Lady Cats offensively.

In the third inning, Ryan Jones sparked the momentum with a run-scoring double. Brooklyn Varney followed with a triple that brought in two more runs. Kennadi Barrett added to the scoring with a productive groundout that plated another run, giving Tom Bean a commanding lead.

Oliva Noga kept the energy high in the fourth, with a solo inside-the-park home run. Later in the inning, Mauriello delivered again with an RBI single. Noga also shined in the circle, earning the win after pitching a complete game. She allowed six hits and five runs (four earned), and striking out four.

Jones and Noga both turned in multi-hit performances to support the Lady Cats' nine-hit effort.
