The Tomcats took Game 1 of the Area Playoffs, winning 11-1 against Nocona. Keaton Reed did it all by getting 3 hits including a triple and a double with 4 RBI's while also throwing all 5 innings of the game allowing only 1 hit and striking out 4. Cash Linder also had a good day at the plate, getting 2 hits including a triple with 3 RBI's. Donnie Hooten and Hagen Darney both had 2 hits apiece. Reid Sharp also got himself an RBI single.

The Tomcats battled but came up short in Game 2 losing 3-2 to Nocona. Cash Linder led the offense with 2 hits including a double and a triple. Keaton Reed also helped out with a double while Donnie Hooten had a hit and a sacrifice fly that scored a run. On the mound, Cash Linder battled going all 6 innings and striking out 5.

The Tomcats won Game 3 and clinched the series, winning 14-4! Lots of Tomcats had a great game at the plate led by Cash Linder who went 3-3 with a triple and double and an RBI. Braylin Barrett had 2 hits including a double and 3 RBI's. Keaton Reed had 2 hits with 3 RBI's. Dyson Farris picked up 2 hits and an RBI. Ryan DeArmond got himself a triple and had 3 RBI's on the night. Reid Sharp got the win on the mound in the final game of the series going all 5 innings.

The Tomcats will play the Axtell Longhorns next week in the Regional Semifinals at Forney High School. Game 1 will be on Thursday at 6:00 PM, and Game 2 will be on Friday at 6:00 PM. If necessary, Game 3 will be on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
