The Tomcats got a huge Game 1 victory over Axtell, winning 1-0 with Keaton Reed throwing a complete game no-hitter against the #2 team in state. Reed had help with a great effort for the defense behind him including a diving catch in the 1st by Hagen Darney. The Tomcats scored their only and winning run in the 1st when Donnie Hooten hit a double. Cash Linder moved him to 3rd with a fly ball. Then, Keaton Reed scored him via an error. Brody Pearson had 2 hits on the day and Dyson Farris finished with a hit as well.

The Tomcats won Game 2 and swept the series against #2 Axtell, winning 9-3 to advance to the Regional Finals for the first time in school history! Despite two long lightning delays, the Tomcats stayed focused and exploded in the bottom of the 5th inning, scoring 6 runs to take the lead. Hagen Darney had 2 hits on the day including a double and scored twice. Donnie Hooten also had 2 hits on the day. Reid Sharp collected 2 hits including a double and 2 RBI's. Braylin Barrett got himself 2 RBI's as well. Cash Linder, Keaton Reed, and Ryan DeArmond all had a hit with an RBI. Dyson Farris also helped out with a hit. On the mound, Cash Linder battled through two lightning delays to secure the win going 6 and a third innings. Reid Sharp came in to get the last 2 outs of the game to secure the Tomcats spot in the Regional Championship against the Alvord Bulldogs next week.

The Tomcats will face Alvord in the Regional Finals next week.
