The Tom Bean Lady Cats traveled to Alvord to take on the Lady Bulldogs in an exciting night of volleyball. The JV team battled hard, taking the match in three sets. They won the first set 25–21, fell in the second 19–25, and closed it out strong with a 15–7 victory in the third. Preslie Parrish led the way in the opening set with a 7-point serving run while also showing strong defense. Cady Farrell added a 5-point serving run in the second set, while Aly Low and Delaney Harris dominated on the front row to help secure the win.
The Varsity Lady Cats competed in three hard-fought sets but came up short against a tough Alvord squad. The girls battled point-for-point early, dropping the sets 17–25, 20–25, and 14–25. Ali Vick had a standout performance, recording 6 kills and 2 aces, while Blake Edwards added 3 kills. Emily Ragsdale also made an impact on defense, getting key deflections at the net to slow down the Lady Bulldogs’ offense.
The Lady Cats will be back in action this Friday as they travel to Leonard to face the Lady Tigers.
