Tomcats Roll to 3-0 with Dominant 49-0 Win Over The Valley View Eagles

Your Tom Bean Tomcats kept their undefeated season alive in Week 3 with a commanding 49-0 shutout victory on the road against the Valley View Eagles. With the win, the Tomcats improve to 3-0 and continue to showcase the power of playing as a FAMILY.From the opening whistle, the Tomcats were in control on both sides of the ball. The offense piled up 437 total yards with 270 yards through the air and 167 yards on the ground. The defense allowed just 96 total yards in a complete team performance. QB Donnie Hooten delivered another strong performance, completing 14 of 19 passes for 270 yards with 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception, while adding 20 rushing yards. Camden Stephens was unstoppable, recording 6 catches for 150 yards and a touchdown. Brayden Bomar added 3 receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown, plus electrified the game with a 48-yard punt return for a touchdown. Dyson Farris added 2 catches for 30 yards and Maguire Poole brought in 3 catches for 30 yards. On the ground, Slayton Farris carried the ball 6 times for 61 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Dallas Peavey added 56 yards on 4 carries with 2 touchdowns of his own. Cash Linder chipped in 30 yards on 3 carries.
The Tomcat defense was relentless, allowing just 70 rushing yards and 26 passing yards while forcing 2 turnovers. Tatum Hanson led the way with a monster night, recording 17 tackles. Ryan DeArmond added 11 tackles, while Slayton Farris had 8 tackles with 1 tackle for loss, and 3 QB pressures. Brayden Yowell tallied 7 tackles and 1 QB pressure, and Carter Mayo came up huge with 4 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. Brayden Bomar added 4 tackles and 1 interception, while Anthony Secreto finished with 4 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 2 pressures.
