The Tom Bean Lady Cats opened district play against the Collinsville Lady Pirates on Tuesday night. The JV squad came out strong, securing the win in two sets. After battling back from an early deficit, the Lady Cats rallied to take the first set 25-23, fueled by a serving run from Macy Bearden with 4 consecutive serves, and Preslie Parrish, who added 5 straight and closed out the set with the final two points. In the second set, Tom Bean dominated with a 25-10 victory, showcasing consistent serving and teamwork. Cady Farrell stood out as a vocal leader on the court, keeping the team energized and focused.

In varsity action, the Lady Cats fell in three sets (8-25, 15-25, 17-25) but showed plenty of fight and bright moments. Jaycee Allen led the offensive with 11 kills, while Blake Edwards added 4 kills. Defensively, Camryn Ives anchored the back row, leading the team in digs and providing a steady serve receive pass throughout the night.
