Defensively, the Tomcats bent but didn’t break and came up with huge plays when they needed them most. Despite giving up 598 total yards, the defense made game-changing plays all game. Forcing two interceptions, one fumble recovery, two tackles for loss, and two turnover on downs that flipped momentum at key moments.
