The final game of the season for the Tom Bean Lady Cats was played Friday night in Trenton. The varsity Lady Cats fought hard in a competitive match, with set scores of 19-25, 25-22, 13-25, and 13-25. Jaycee Allen led the team with double-digit kills and served as a consistent offensive force all season. Hazel Darney stepped up as the libero for the game, providing strong defensive play, while Cady Farrell and Blake Edwards did an excellent job setting up the offense throughout the match.
The JV Lady Cats ended their season on a high note with a victory, winning in straight sets, 25-15 and 25-20. Preslie Parrish and Dianne Flores anchored the back row, and Delaney Harris stepped up as setter for the team. Jayda Dawson and Aly Low showed incredible versatility, making an impact all around the court.
This season was marked by significant growth, both mentally and physically, for all of our athletes. While the scores may not fully reflect it, the development of these players were evident in every game. We are especially grateful for our seniors, Brooklyn Varney and Kailynn Pearson, who made a lasting impact on their teammates and coaches.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Lady Cats throughout the season!
