The Tom Bean Lady Cats kicked off district play with a big 22-1 win over Whitewright! Addison Porter had a huge night, going 4-for-4 with three doubles and four RBIs to lead the way. The girls came out strong in the first inning and kept the momentum the entire game, finishing with 15 total hits. Olivia Noga also had a great night at the plate with four hits and four RBIs. As a team, the Lady Cats showed patience and confidence, drawing eight walks and taking advantage of every opportunity. Porter was just as solid in the circle, earning the win while giving up only one hit and striking out nine in four innings. Proud of the way these girls opened up district play. We’re looking forward to carrying this energy into Friday’s game at Sam Rayburn.
