Addison Porter had a big day in the circle and at the plate to lead the Tom Bean Lady Cats to a 15-0 win over Collinsville on Tuesday. Porter struck out 12 batters over five innings while allowing just two hits and no runs.

The Lady Cats got the offense going early, scoring multiple runs in the first inning behind key hits from Aly Low, Addison O’Bier, and Olivia Noga.

Tom Bean added to their lead in the third when Noga and Blake Edwards each drove in a run before Cady Farrell launched a three-run home run to center field.

Porter also helped her own cause with a solo home run in the fifth inning.

The Lady Cats finished with 16 hits on the night, with Noga, Farrell, and O’Bier each collecting three hits. Tom Bean was also solid defensively, finishing the game without committing an error.

Tom Bean will be back in action at home Friday when they take on Tioga.
