The Tom Bean Tomcats delivered a dominant all-around performance Friday night, defeating the Valley View Eagles 39-0 in convincing fashion. The Tomcats controlled the game from start to finish, combining an efficient passing attack with a stifling defensive effort to secure the shutout victory.

Quarterback #5 Henry Cheek led the Tom Bean offense with an impressive performance through the air. Cheek completed 23 of 33 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns, finishing the game with a nearly 70 percent completion rate. His ability to consistently move the offense and connect with his receivers helped the Tomcats maintain control throughout the game.

One of Cheek's favorite targets was Cain Pearson, who had a standout performance for Tom Bean. Pearson hauled in seven receptions for 133 yards and a touchdown, averaging 19 yards per reception. His big-play ability gave the Tomcats an explosive weapon in the passing game and helped create separation on the scoreboard.

While the offense continued to produce, the Tom Bean defense made sure Valley View never had an opportunity to get back into the game. Outside linebacker Slayton Farris led the defensive highlights, recording four tackles and intercepting a Valley View pass.
