Last night, the Lady Cats Middle School Softball Team traveled to Honey Grove for their first game of the fall season. In their 8-0 victory, the Lady Cats dominated at the plate and in the field. In the first inning, they wasted no time putting points up on the board as they were able to bring one home on a stolen base. Throughout the game the Lady Cats continued to tally up runs behind their eight hits and their ability to run wild on the base paths (18 stolen bases). In the field the Lady Cats defense was on their A-game as two pitchers combined for a no-hitter and not a single error was committed by the team. This group will take the field again on Tuesday, August 29, at 5:00pm in Bland.
