The Lady Cats Middle School softball team nabbed the lead late in the game in a 5-2 victory over Bland on Tuesday. The game was tied at two as the Lady Cats came up to bat in the top of the fourth. Preslie Parrish singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run and putting the Lady Cats in the lead. The Lady Cats pulled away from there by adding three more runs in the fourth inning.

Blake Edwards was in the circle for the Lady Cats. Edwards lasted two innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out three.

Preslie Parrish, Bailey Daniel, Blake Edwards, Addison O'Bier, Addison Porter, Cadence Farrell, and Ali Vick each collected one hit to lead the Lady Cats.
