In their eagerly awaited first meet of the year, our cross country teams gave it their all despite not achieving the desired outcome. Although the results might not have been exactly what we hoped for, there's a silver lining as some of our athletes found themselves setting their personal bests and others left with a mark to improve upon. Going into this meet, the goal was to find a starting point. Something that could be used to fuel their determination to make consistent progress week after week. With improvement on the mind, this groups' sights are set on the district meet scheduled for October 9th, and they are committed to pushing their limits and fine-tuning their strategies to ensure a stronger showing in the meets leading up to that point.
