On Monday night, September 9th, the Tom Bean Middle School Lady Cats showcased their skills in a series of matches against Whitewright Middle School. The evening was filled with intense competition and impressive performances from all three Lady Cats teams.

The Lady Cats' White team, though demonstrating notable improvement, faced a tough challenge against their Whitewright counterparts. They played hard but ultimately fell short in both sets, with scores of 8-25 and 17-25. Despite the losses, the White team’s ability to bounce back in the second set is worth noting and can be built upon.

The Lady Cats’ Black team delivered an exhilarating performance, engaging in a battle that went the distance. After dropping the first set 28-30, the team rallied to win the second set 25-22. The final set was a dramatic showdown, but the Lady Cats clinched the victory with a 15-13 win.

The Orange team secured a clean sweep with two solid set wins. They won their matches with scores of 25-19 in both sets..

The Lady Cats middle school teams next games will be against Collinsville on September 16th at home. Fans and supporters are encouraged to come out and cheer on the teams as they continue their season.
